2010年10月6日，泰国芭堤雅市Ittipol Khunpleum 市长在芭堤雅大会堂举办了记者招待会，宣布2010年佛像展及比赛将于10月23日至24日在国家东部地区户外举行。

On Wednesday afternoon, at Pattaya City Hall, Pattaya City Mayor Ittipol Khunpleum held a press conference to publicize the 2010 Buddha Image Exhibition and Competition, which will be held on October 23 – 24, at the Eastern Region National Field, on Soi Chaiyapreuk.
Many Buddhist scholars came to publicize the purpose of this event, which is to preserve and exhibit of all types of famous Buddha coins, statues and blessing garments. It is very important for practicing Buddhists to pass on this knowledge to the next generation.
